I've had this lens for a bit over a year - such a light, packable lens - and sharp too!
Ideal for those who hike a lot or want a native 600mm in the bag for "just in case" shots.

It fits unmounted in my small Think Tank TurnStyle 20 sling bag.

Caught these two bluebird beauties over this past extremely cold weekend with the R5 at ISO 3200.

I bought this lens refurbished for $399 during one of the Canon sales. I just bought the R100 w/kit lens for $329, on sale. I want to pair that camera w/ the 600 F/11 for a 960mm telescope lens and hopefully get a few shots of the moon tonight, if it's clear.

The spring migration in my area is starting to heat up and will peak in about 2 weeks.

I am forcing myself to use this lens to give it an honest workout and test. I know it is sharp enough (surprising more so with better contrast than the EF100-400II + 1.4xIII combo) but the f/11 has been a worry for me in chasing super fast moving warblers and other small birds. But using the R5 + RF600STM combo makes it so nimble and quick to aim on target compared to the 500F4 and even the 100-400II.

Expect to see a bunch more examples as the season progresses.
